VEX Stands is welcoming multi-talented designer and stylist Mitch Phillips to the team for the development of limited edition case and bag designs.
Phillips style is informed by a mix of 70’s-80’s glam rock and punk aesthetics.
VEX Stands designer, Thomas Lopez, has been working closely with working musicians to design and develop durable cases for single microphones as well as one that can carry up to four. The heavy-duty EVA foam interior ensures secure travel and is protected by a rugged 1680D PVC shell. Lopez and Phillips will collaborate on producing limited runs with unique designs for all of VEX’s cases in addition to the standard black and gun metal. Lopez is also developing a proprietary travel case for the popular Shure BLX wireless systems, a multi-channel UHF body pack system. Thomas is developing cases for the BLX system with one and two microphone versions, in addition to body packs. These multiple designs are slated for debut along with the V1 and V2 microphone stand’s at the 2021 NAMM exhibition in Anaheim, CA
