With the cancellation of the summer NAMM, 2020 in Nashville vendors and industry look for-ward to the winter exhibition in Anaheim in January 2021, and VEX Stands is excited to debut our line of products along with other industry leaders. While social distancing restrictions may impact the nature of NAMM 2021, the organization is developing a plan to ensure the health and safety of all vendors and attendees while still fostering the sense of community and shared experience the event has become known for. VEX Stands plans to continue with our previously scheduled debut at NAMM 2021 and can’t wait to show the music and performance equipment industry what we’re about; innovative, over-engineered, thoughtfully designed equipment for working musicians and performers. In a statement regarding the summer exhibitions cancellation, NAMM Chair C.F. Martin and President Joe Lamond had this to say. “As difficult as these days are, we gain strength and inspiration from the generations of NAMM members who came before us, overcoming every obstacle in their way. And in that spirit, we can just imagine the heartfelt celebrations that will occur when we are all together again in An-aheim next January. In the meantime, please stay safe and connected to each other; with perse-verance, vision and passion, we will succeed.” Here at VEX, we have the same belief that connecting with our community and persevering through these unprecedented times will forge our strength and allow us to develop an even more profound sense of connection. We’re in this together and working closely with musicians and performers to navigate what the future of live performance looks like from virtual concerts, to podcasts and more to allow eve-ryone to continue thriving amid the numerous closures of venues and DIY spaces and delay or cancellation of tours and shows. Connection to universal forces lies at the core of our design and values, and we will continue to tap into this to get to our next chapter.
